The Westford Farmers Market

On the Common celebrates its Opening Day for the 2008 season on June 24th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and community spirit as our musical talent performs on the newly created historic bandstand that once graced our Common! Buy local, farm fresh and nutritious fruits and veggies, grass-fed and antibiotic free meats, free-range chicken and eggs, locally made cheeses, artisan organic breads and much more. New vendor this year from a Mentoring Program includes Flats Mentor Farm specializing in Asian vegetables. New family fun, hands-on activities and demonstrations scheduled throughout the season from One Stroke Painting by Alev to Hula Hooping in Action! Amy Dempster returns with Cooking to Learn for the young ones!
Shop for quality (not quantity) – Learn more and stop by the Education Station for current information on environmental issues, nutrition and good healthy living. It’s all here at the Westford Farmers Market on the Common, an all-volunteer effort, supported by the Roudenbush Community Center and First Parish Church United. Visit us at www.westfordfarmersmarket.net to get the latest information or to volunteer. Call 978-692-5511, ext. 281 or email Pmason@roudenbush.org.
